Description

this type of magnetic material is stronger than the one used in our standard magnet circles

Designed to fit Citadel Bases: These foam-backed magnets are designed to fit inside the standard black Citadel bases. Please note that other textured bases available all have varying depths, so please do your research before buying.

Available in three sizes: 22mm, 25mm, and 28.5mm—all with a total thickness of 2.5mm (magnet thickness 1.5mm). This type of magnetic material is stronger than the one used in our standard magnet circles.

The sizes are designed to fit snugly as so:

22mm fits inside 25mm base

25mm fits inside 28.5mm base

28.5mm fits inside 32mm base

Pack Sizes:

22mm: 84 per pack

25mm: 70 per pack

28.5mm: 56 per pack

34.5mm: 40 per pack

Strong Bond: Each magnet features a 1.0mm thick layer of premium foam adhesive on the reverse side. This adhesive is designed to mould around any embossed text/trademarks on the bottom of the bases, ensuring a strong and reliable bond. Your Space Marines aren’t going anywhere, my friends.

They also fit larger bases: For oval or larger circular/oval bases, multiple magnets can be used to achieve the desired strength (see my terrible photos above to get a feel for how they'll look inside lol).

Ease of Use: The design eliminates the need for gluing neodymium magnets together and reduces the risk of magnets falling out due to unstuck glue. They are designed to fit sleekly inside the base rims without adding extra height. Look I won't lie, but in order for magnet to contact its respective contact surface beneath it, then it must protrude by approx 0.1mm or so. And if you're bothered about this, well then I hate to say it, but we literally could not give one flying wyvern. But seriously though, you really can't tell, and if you think you can then I can't help you, and I'm afraid you must walk the plank.

Positive Community Feedback: These magnets have already been tested within the Wargaming community and have received a very positive response. In fact, sellers of neodymium magnets are tremendously scared, cowering like a level-one squires at their very first dragon encounter. And I don't blame them at all. Many have fled the nation to set up shops elsewhere, but we're coming for them. Think we're lying? Buy the magnets yourself and you'll understand.

Customization and Care Tips:

If there are pegs or other protrusions inside the base, these magnets can be easily cut to shape as they are soft enough. The pegs inside are often circular, and THE CORRECT hole punch sorts this right out!

A 7.0mm hole punch is recommended, found on platforms like eBay. Standard 6.0mm punches might work, but a size of at least 6.3mm is advisable. Regular paper hole punches are not ideal due to alignment and hand strength requirements.

Almost too good at its jobReviewed by Luk.ys on 16 May 2024

If anything the magnets might be too strong, almost snapped my models in half trying to get them off the sheet, it requires a bit of a technique to not tear pieces off, be extremely careful if you have for example Necrons or resin models

Help with my delivery

1. Why Is The Delivery Time Longer Than I’d Expect?

Where possible, please refer to the tracking information that you have received for any updates from the courier, as they may be experiencing some disruptions.

2. My Item Is Now Out Of Stock, But I Have Paid For It.  What Shall I Do?

We have optimised all of our systems to ensure that it is not possible for our customers to purchase items that are out of stock.

Whilst this may be the case, computer systems are not infallible and we will always contact you first if an error has been made.

3. There’s Been A Mistake With My Order.  What Shall I Do?

We are proud of our UK-based customer service and we will always endeavor to support you wherever possible.

You are welcome to contact us if you need to make a change to your order before it has been dispatched, or if a mistake has been made after you have received it. Please click here to Contact Us or email us at hello@themagnetshop.co.uk.

Deliveries of multiple items

1. I’ve Ordered Several Items At Once.  Will They Arrive Together?

We will do our best to package all your orders into one parcel, though some larger orders will require multiple parcels to be sent.  This may result in your items arriving on different days or from different couriers.

All UK orders will not receive additional charges unless you opt for a delivery upgrade.

Please wait until your delivery due time has passed before contacting us and where possible, refer to the tracking information provided in the dispatch confirmation.

DO YOU HAVE ANY DELIVERY RESTRICTIONS?

We do reserve the right not to deliver an order if we believe the address isn’t secure or incorrect, for example to some communal postal addresses or PO Boxes. If this affects an order you place, we'll notify you as soon as possible.

Our Returns Policy

If you receive your order but need to return all or part of it, then that is completely fine too! We offer a generous (well, we think so!) 30 day money back guarantee with no questions asked, so long as your order doesn’t come back to us damaged. By the way, that’s 30 days from when you receive your parcel, not from the order date, and that includes international orders! We know sometimes international post can take unusually long to arrive, and we don’t think it’s fair that that should eat into the time you have to decide if you need to return anything to us. Our only stipulation is that your order should be returned in resalable condition, in its original packaging and in an unused condition.

Please do read on for more info about our returns process (we’ll do our best to keep it quick but there’s a fair bit to cover. Do feel free to scroll on down to the FAQs section if you’re looking for a specific bit of info).

How to Return an Order

If you need to return all or part of an order then the first step is to get in touch and let us know! You have 30 days from the date your order was delivered to let us know if you need to return it. If you’ve simply changed your mind or don’t need the order anymore then that’s completely fine, as we said before you have complete peace of mind with our no questions asked money back guarantee. However, if you’ve received the order and it’s not quite working for you then please do let us know and we’ll do all we can to help! (We might ask you a couple of questions then so we can give you the best answer!)

If Your Order is Damaged

It’s sad, but all too often the postal service can be, to put it lightly, a bit heavy-handed! We package all orders sent from our warehouse securely and make every effort to ensure all products reach you in perfect condition. In the vast majority of cases, this does happen, but unfortunately, accidents can happen. If you do receive a damaged order, then please take a photo of it and get in touch with us straight away! We’ll do all we can to make it right. Your photos help us understand if there’s something we can be doing better, but also give us evidence to go back to the delivery companies to ensure damaged orders are followed up.

If your order is damaged then we will get back to you immediately and offer to either send you a replacement order via expedited delivery or offer you a refund in full. In this case, if you do opt for a refund then there’s no need to return the damaged item to us as it won’t be resalable, and we don’t want you having to wait for your money back!
